Some of my most cherished memories stem from the exhilarating adventures I shared with my father during our hunting expeditions when I was just a wide-eyed child. Those experiences left an indelible mark on my soul, as my father instilled in me the significance of utilizing quality gear with precision, regardless of the pursuit at hand.

However, as the demanding pursuit of my PhD consumed my life, I was forced to set aside my beloved pastimes of hunting and fishing. The enchanting allure of the tranquil woods, the crystal-clear streams, and the melodious songs of birds echoed persistently in the depths of my mind, longing to be rediscovered.

Years passed, and upon completing my rigorous training in cancer research and bidding farewell to the hallowed halls of medical school in bustling Boston, I found myself irresistibly drawn to the untamed beauty of the northern woods in breathtaking New Hampshire. In the ethereal embrace of nature, my first instinct was to surrender to the rekindling flames of my passion for hunting and fishing, urging me to hastily embark on a journey to the majestic mountains. As I found solace in the solitude of the woods, my mind instantly raced with ideas on how to optimize my gear, seeking to enhance every aspect of my outdoor experience.

Gradually, the balance between my time spent in the lab and the sanctuary of the wilderness began to shift. The harmonious melody of babbling creeks beneath the delicate spring ice, the invigorating aroma of conifer needles pervading the sultry summer air, the resplendent kaleidoscope of colors adorning the White Mountains during autumn, and the graceful descent of tranquil snowflakes from the heavens above... These ethereal moments breathed new life into my weary soul. It was then, amid the boundless wonders of the untamed wilderness, that I realized my heart yearned for a path less traveled. The decision to relinquish the confines of the academic realm was not arduous, for when destiny beckons, it unfolds with effortless fluidity.

Fate smiled upon me, intertwining my journey with that of a kindred spirit—a business partner who had crafted an array of exceptional gear for renowned outdoor brands.
